1. Overview
This policy explains what ConfTag collects, why it is needed, and how server owners can request deletion. We only process data required to run guild tag detection and dashboard functionality.
2. Data We Collect
Discord identifiers
- User IDs and guild IDs
- Usernames/display names and avatar URLs
- Member role and server membership state
Configuration and logs
- Tag-role configuration and server settings from dashboard
- Tag detection events and moderation/audit related entries
- Authentication session data for dashboard access
3. How We Use Data
- Detect guild tag matches and sync roles automatically
- Provide dashboard visibility and operational history
- Securely authenticate admins and server managers
- Maintain reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting
ConfTag does not sell user data and does not use data for advertising.
4. Retention & Deletion
Guild data is retained while ConfTag is active in the server. After removal, data may be retained for a short grace period (up to 30 days) to allow safe re-activation, then deleted.
Server owners can request deletion through support.
5. Security
We use restricted infrastructure access, private service networking, and operational safeguards appropriate for a production Discord bot platform. No system is absolutely risk-free.
6. Your Rights
- Request access to stored data related to your server
- Request correction where possible
- Request deletion of server/user-associated data
- Stop future collection by removing the bot from your server
