What is Conftag?
Conftag is purpose-built for communities that use a guild tag policy. It monitors member identity updates, evaluates configured tag patterns, and applies role rules automatically.
Quickstart
1) Invite ConfTag with administrator permission
2) Open Dashboard > Server
3) Configure tag pattern(s)
4) Select tag role(s)
5) Enable auto role sync
6) Run first member scanModule Map

Role Sync Flow
- Member display name or username changes.
- Conftag evaluates configured tag conditions.
- Matching role assignment or removal is queued.
- Dashboard reflects sync event history.
Moderation Flow
- AutoMod, Guard and Policy evaluate incoming moderation intent.
- Critical actions can require approval queue confirmation.
- Approved actions are executed and persisted to Cases/Logs.
- Dashboard timelines keep context from trigger to final decision.
Permissions
Keep ConfTag role above managed target roles. Required capabilities include reading members and managing roles.
Troubleshooting
- Role not applying: check role hierarchy first.
- No detection events: verify tag pattern and bot permissions.
- Dashboard stale: refresh and verify server selection.
